The Black Gems in STEM Summer Program, our flagship program: 

1. Builds self-efficacy by introducing students to Black people in STEM fields,

2. Teaches fundamental concepts by engaging students in hands-on STEAM activities,

3. Strengthens life skills through team-building activities and critical-thinking exercises, 

4. Supports mental and physical health through morning mindfulness routines, art, and athletics, and

5. Broadens students' horizons through field trips and other activities.
